About Leo Walsh

Leo Walsh is a storyteller who loves to question our concepts of monstrosity through queer and neurodiverse fiction. When not locked up in their office writing or working as a book coach, Leo works as an editor for Scarsdale Publishing. They’ve worked on projects like The Bioworld Trilogy and The Airgorn Series. The power of books has touched every aspect of their life, so they’ve taken up the mission of bringing the stories they wished they had to the shelves–whether through their own projects or by contributing to another’s work. They have a MA in Creative Writing and Publishing from Edinburgh Napier University and a MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University.

Leo was born and raised in the nexus of chaos that is Reno, Nevada, where they spent their childhood wandering around the brush and creating worlds in their head. They still live there with their parents, two neurotic dogs, and a cuddly jerk of a cat. In their free time, Leo can be found playing table top role-playing games at a local bar, reading fantasy books, or creating craft cocktail syrups. They’re also an avid baker and coffee enthusiast.
